Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois
• CT Technologist with 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Workplace Violence Prevention certification (DCI/BVP)
• Valid driver's license

Overview

• Specialty: CT Technologist
• Location: Aurora, Illinois
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), weekends every other week
• On-Call: None
• Equipment: GE 128-slice and Canon 320-slice scanners

Onboarding Requirements

• Background and eligibility:

  • National criminal background check within one year of start (completed before starting in FL, MI, and TX)
  • OIG and SAM/EPLS exclusion checks, with the search date visible
  • Form I-9 (agency attestation accepted)
• Health and immunizations:

  • Drug screen, minimum 10-panel with THC, within 60 days of start
  • Color-blind test, annually
  • COVID-19 vaccine: 2 doses and booster, or a declination
  • MMR: proof of 2 vaccines or a positive titer
  • Hepatitis B: record of 3 immunizations, an immune titer, or a declination
  • Influenza vaccine or declination, November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027
  • TB test within one year of start, plus an annual TB questionnaire
  • Varicella: vaccination or titer showing immunity
  • Tdap (declinations not accepted at some facilities)
  • Annual physical/health statement stating the candidate is clear to work
  • Annual respirator fit test (3M 1860 series masks accepted unless the facility directs otherwise; in the IL region, fit testing must be completed before start)
  • Optional: positive PPD with negative chest X-ray
• Competency and documentation:

  • Core competencies exam, scoring 80% or higher
  • Skills checklist (required at submission)
  • Resume reflecting accurate, recent work history (required at offer acceptance)
  • Two references, one from a manager or direct leader/supervisor (required at submission)
  • Signed job description, current within the year (agency form accepted)
  • Badge photo: JPEG, clear headshot from the shoulders up on a solid plain background
  • Onboarding education attestation, completed and submitted before clearance to start
  • Essentials onboarding packet
  • Optional: notarized name affidavit for any name discrepancies between credentials
  • Certificate of Assurance (COA), not required for per diem needs
