Labor & Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Livingston, New Jersey
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:30–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Unit settings include AP, HRAP, LDRP, MB, Level I Nursery, and births of 200–300+/month
- Ratios: 1:1–2
- Candidates must float within their skillset without exception, including Antepartum, L&D, L&D PACU, and Postpartum
- Accepts first-time travelers
- Locals accepted at the same rate
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- FHM
- EFM
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with amnioinfusion
- Experience with high-risk (HR) deliveries
- Ability to circulate/scrub/recover C-sections
- Experience with forceps/vacuum extraction
- Experience managing hemorrhage/shock
- Experience with amniocentesis
- Experience with sterile speculum exam
- Experience with NST (Non-Stress Test)
- Experience with OCT (Oxytocin Challenge Test)
- Experience with OB triage
- Experience with Epic
