CT Technologist

Location: Hillsborough, North Carolina Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Role Summary

• Perform CT procedures and tests to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.
• Verify patient identification, obtain patient history, and document pregnancy status for patients of childbearing age.
• Obtain and manipulate CT images per protocol, including multi-planar and 3D reconstructions, and select appropriate window and level settings.
• Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients, establish IV lines, administer IV contrast, and check lab values before injection per protocol.
• Transmit, verify, and segment images, manage orders and charge accuracy, and maintain PACS demographic accuracy.
• Run the schedule, review patient charts and reports for correlation, document incidents, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Precept new employees and students.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• ARRT certification.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Experience with 3D imaging.
