Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER), Days

Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota Employment Type: Temp Contract Length: 8 weeks Shift: Days, 8 hours per day

Role Description

• Provides holistic, customer-centered nursing care across the lifespan, from neonates to older adults.
• Works independently, collaboratively, and through delegated nursing functions based on the standards for the assigned service area.
• Carries out the nursing process: assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develops and revises the plan of care, coordinates care among disciplines, and delegates activities to other providers as appropriate.
• Duties and required clinical skills may vary by assigned customer care unit, and unit-based skill lists add expectations beyond the house-wide RN requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• 2 years or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS
• TNCC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Trauma experience
• Experience with Epic
