RN - OR

Location: Lafayette, Colorado Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Performs independent and delegated nursing functions under accepted practice standards set by the state Board of Nursing
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
• Collects and assesses ongoing health data, performs health teaching and counseling, and provides supportive and restorative therapy and treatment
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, based on business need
• May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, completed within the last year
