CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Mountain View, Missouri Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1

Shift and Schedule

• Week 1: Mon 7a-10p, Tue 7a-10p, Wed 7a-7:30p
• Week 2: Wed 8a-10p, Thu 8a-10p, Fri 7a-8:30p
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Weekend hours: None
• Call: Normally no call

Unit and Facility

• Department: Radiology
• Facility: 25-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center
• Beds on unit: 8 inpatient beds
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Patient mix: Mainly outpatient and ED
• Equipment: Toshiba CT
• Float scope: CT and X-ray

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS
• ARRT (R)
• Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiographic diagnostic procedures independently, at a technical level, without constant supervision
• Prepare orders, take responsibility for the assigned area or procedure, and finalize all exams in the electronic medical record
• Transport patients between the ED and Radiology
• Perform other related duties as required and deemed necessary by department leadership
