CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Woodland, California Specialty: CT/X-Ray Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• AHA BLS
• ARRT (CT) certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• California Fluoroscopy permit and California Radiologic Technologist license

Schedule

• Start times: 10-hour shifts Friday through Sunday, 0600-1630, and Monday, 0630-1700, plus call
• Call: 1800-0700 Monday through Friday and 24 hours Saturday and Sunday. Call is used rarely for high-volume days and has limited coverage. Response time is 30 minutes.
• Travelers work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). Managers make the final scheduling decision. Holiday time off will be considered but is not guaranteed.

Work Environment

• Outpatient scans scheduled at 13-18 per 10-hour shift, plus ED add-ons. Volume fluctuates.
• Equipment: Siemens Somatom AS and Go.Top (secondary unit), Carestream X-ray systems, portable units, and Philips and GE fluoro/X-ray rooms
• No prior experience on this equipment is required.

Submission and Eligibility

• Profiles are sent directly to the unit manager for review, interview, and offer.
• A copy of the driver's license is required at submittal to validate legal name. The profile must match the name on a government-issued ID, with no middle initial or middle name.
• Candidates who were directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility in the same health system within the past year are not eligible. Candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
