Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Nights)

Location: Mount Clemens, MI Employment Type: Temporary Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 12 hours per day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC or ENPC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care using the nursing process. The role works collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice, and directs, coordinates, and delegates activities to foster patient- and family-centered care.

Essential functions:

• Assess the patient's physical, psychosocial, and educational needs
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions
• Take personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development
