CT Tech

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio

• Schedule: Day shift, 5 x 8 hours (8:00 to 16:30), 40 hours per week. No weekends or call.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• CT Technologist with 2 years of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Background and Health Requirements

• Background check completed before start, including a 7-year FCRA-compliant search (SSN trace, counties, states, nationwide, national sex offender, OFAC, FACIS Level 3, education verification). Must be updated after a break in service of 2 or more months.
• Automatic cancellations: pending or open criminal cases, multiple misdemeanor convictions within 7 years involving drug abuse, theft, physical assault, or sexual acts, and felony convictions within 7 years
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Education verification
• FBI and BCI fingerprinting completed within 48 hours of signing the contract, with results on file within 12 months of start and updated annually. Results cannot be pending for this role. Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprint attestation required, signed by the agency and valid for one year.
• Physical exam within the past year, including an assessment that the traveler can safely perform the essential job functions with or without accommodation. Latex allergies can be accommodated with notification.
• Fit mask: 3M 1860 small/regular or 1870+, completed within 12 months and updated annually. Cannot be completed onsite.
• TB: negative 2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold/T-Spot within 6 months of start, updated annually. A past positive requires a chest X-ray within 6 months of start and a TB questionnaire signed by a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant, updated annually.
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella: 2 vaccines or a positive titer. Negative or equivocal titers require 1 booster. Medical or religious exemptions are acceptable and follow agency policy.
• Hepatitis B: titer, series, or declination
• 10-panel drug screen, updated annually. Instant drug screens are not accepted.
• Flu vaccine or an approved medical or religious exemption during flu season (11/30 to 03/31). Declinations are not accepted.

Orientation and Competencies

• Online training modules must be completed before start. They must be done on a computer using Google Chrome, and the training video must be watched before the test.
• Unit-specific competency exam within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Core Parts I–III. Subcontractors may submit a signed HIPAA form (preferred) or pass core testing.
• Skills checklist and orientation safety manual acknowledgment, both updated annually
• Facility badge photo (front and back) required before start. The badge must be picked up from the facility after modules are complete.
