PT Therapy

Location: Riviera Beach, Florida (2nd floor) Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 12 weeks Hours per Week: 32 Openings: 1 Shift: Days Weekly Guaranteed Hours: To be discussed

Department: Inpatient ARU
Number of Beds: 11
Patient Ratios: 5-6:1
Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
Equipment: TENS, ergometer, parallel bars, Omnicycle
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: CVA, respiratory, cardiac, amputations, fractures, joint replacements
Float Scope: LTAC/ARU

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year

Schedule

Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: Call at least 4 hours before shift to report a cancellation

Dress Code

Business casual permitted, navy blue scrubs
No blue jeans

The assignment is in the Palm Beaches area of South Florida. West Palm Beach is about 10-15 minutes away, and Palm Beach and Jupiter are about 20 minutes away. Fort Lauderdale is about 1 hour away, and Miami is about 1 hour 25 minutes away.
