Location: Lafayette, Colorado Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Variable 12, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week Weekends: Rotating

Role Summary

• Performs independent and delegated nursing functions under the state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, and performs health teaching and counseling.
• Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
• Documents in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
• May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice (CO single state or compact license)
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (ASN)
• 1+ years of experience
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit or service (ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC are listed as required certifications)
• TNCC
• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• ENPC
• Certification as appropriate for the unit or service
