RN Surgery
Location: Austin, Texas Employment Type: LTA Contract Length: 26 weeks Specialty: RN Surgery
Schedule
- 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Weekend call rotation
- 1 holiday assigned
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Med Surg experience (3 years), with experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Driver's License
- Orthopedics experience
- Plastic Surgery experience
- Neuro/Spine experience
- Robotics experience
- Burn experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
- OR (Operating Room) experience
Onboarding
- Pre-hire education of about 6 hours, with the attestation uploaded by the agency
- Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
- Pre-hire modules for non-allied positions, completed before clearance and renewed annually
- Electronic health record test-out with test results, training checklist, and signed attestation
- Confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead, provided at start and updated with each extension
- Badge photo: forward-facing headshot on a white or blue background, no filters or alterations
