RN - IMC

Overview

Location: Golden, Colorado
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
Weekends: Yes
Float: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
On-call: May be required during a regularly scheduled shift

Role Summary

Provides independent nursing care, delegated medical functions, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment, patient referral, and documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Mixed acuity: Med/Ortho/Stepdown experience

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
Med Surg experience
Orthopedics experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
TNCC
