Oncology RN
Overview
- Outpatient oncology assignment
- 42 beds
- Average 160 appointments per day
- Shift length: mix of 8- or 12-hour shifts, discussed during interview
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- ONS/ONCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Clinical Responsibilities
- Mediport access
- PICC line dressing changes
- Chemo and biotherapy administration
- PRBCs
- SQ and IM injections
- Foley insert and removal
