X Ray-Tech
Overview
- Role: X Ray-Tech
- Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- ARRT
- WV State License
- Experience with c-arm and fluoro
Assignment Details
- Department has 5 scanners/rooms
- Performs XR and OR (c arm) fluoro
- Average volume is 400 scans/studies per day
- Uses Epic and Fuji Synapse
- Equipment includes Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC c-arms
- No floating/coverage to other areas
- No IV starts
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
- Scrubs provided
- Radiologist in-house 24/7: yes, Residents
Schedule
- Day/afternoon and night shifts
- Weekend required
- Holiday required: possibly
- No call or standby
- Department orientation provided
- Schedule noted as 3 12s days, weekends, holidays, and call as required
