Certified Surgical Technologist
Role
Operating Room Certified Surgical Tech
Location
Watertown, New York
Schedule
- 8hr evenings
- Shift: 11a-7:30p
- Weekend, call, and holidays required
- Must arrive within 1/2 hour of getting called in
Required Qualifications
- CST
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program
- BLS
- Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience with orthopedic surgery
- Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
Additional Notes
- May be asked to precept new staff
- Functions under the direct supervision of an RN
- Assists in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient
- Performs technical duties relating to scrub personnel
- Assists with departmental work as assigned
- Helps maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
- Assists surgeons during surgical procedures
