Description
Certified Surgical Tech (CST)
Role Overview
- Temp day shift CST role, 40 hours per week.
- 8-hour or 10-hour day shifts.
- 6–7 call shifts per month, about every 4th or 5th weekend.
- Patient population includes Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
- Trauma Level III.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience.
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- NBSTSA or TS-C.
- Experience with general surgery.
- Experience with obstetric (OB) surgery including C-sections.
- Familiarity with total joint surgery procedures.
- Experience with orthopedic surgery.
- Experience with urology surgery.
- Experience with orthospine surgery.
- 1 supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment.
- License verification.
- Permanent address must be included in the submission file.
- Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility.
- RTO request cannot exceed 3 days.
Preferred
- NBSTSA certification preferred, but not required.
- Previous travel experience highly preferred.
- Candidates with NBSTSA certification will be given first consideration.
Additional Notes
- NH Med Tech is required, but can be applied for at time of offer.
