3N Neurosurgery Tele
Role
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Specialty/unit: 3N Neurosurgery Tele
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week
Location
- Sherwood, Arkansas
Unit Details
- Tele unit
- 2 units: one 20-bed unit and one 17-bed unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 4:1
- Common patient types: Med Surg
Required Qualifications
- BLS
Clinical Responsibilities / Unit Expectations
- RN titration of heparin drips
- CPAP and high flow equipment on the unit
- Charge nurse is present on each shift and takes an assignment
- Patient care techs are on the unit
- Tele/monitor techs are on the unit; RNs read their own strips
- Floating as needed
- First to float
Schedule
- 4 weekends in a 6-week schedule
- 1 major and 1 minor holiday
- Scheduling is per unit needs
- 1 or 2 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation
