Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

Temp assignment in Clare, Michigan
Nights, 12-hour shifts
13 weeks

Role Summary

Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Room (ER)
Triages patients, obtains patient history and vital signs, assesses patients, and provides care for acutely ill and non-acute patients
Performs nursing assessments, processes provider orders, evaluates treatment plans, and participates in care planning
Assists with physician procedures and provides discharge and follow-up instructions
Works with sophisticated equipment in a frequently stressful environment

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Travel experience
NRP
