Echo/Vascular Tech
Location
- Murray, Utah
Schedule
- 3x12-hour day shifts
- Variable schedule
- Weekends required
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Primarily focused on in-patient care
- Schedules and coordinates exams with medical staff, physician offices, other staff, and patients
- Prepares patients for exams, performs ultrasound exams, documents results, charges for exams and supplies, maintains equipment and work area, and supports quality improvement and education activities
Required Qualifications
- Echo-Vascular Technician (1 year of experience)
- Echo-Vascular Technician experience within the last year
- ARDMS certification in cardiac sonography or CCI certification in cardiac sonography or ARDMS certification in vascular sonography or CCI certification in vascular sonography or CCI-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or CCI-Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- BLS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Experience using contrast agent and bubble echo
