Temp Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Nights)

Location: Maple Grove, MN Employment Type: Temp Contract Length: 10 weeks Shift: Nights, 12 hours per day Orientation Dates: 11/16 or 12/14 Facility Note: The facility has a Level III NICU.

Role Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapy duties, including oxygen administration and application of ventilators.
• Initiates and assesses respiratory care services and makes recommendations, including diagnostic studies, under physician supervision.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Minnesota, issued by the MN Board of Medical Practice (document required)
• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (document required)
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (document required)
• NRP certification (document required)
• PALS certification (document required)
• NBRC certification (document required)

Preferred Qualifications

• NICU experience
• Experience with newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations

Profile Requirements

• Work history and a skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
• 2 supervisory references with dates employed listed
• Candidates not eligible to work in the USA must have this noted on their profile
• All RTO requests must be included at submittal; RTO requests cannot be honored after submittal
• Compliance deadline is 4 pm on the Wednesday before start, with no exceptions
