RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

• Travel assignment in Jefferson City, Tennessee
• Start ASAP
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Day shift: 7A-7:30P
• No call
• No floating
• No 48-hour shifts

Unit

• Emergency Department
• 16 beds
• Patient ratio: 4:1 variable

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1+ year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP

Preferred / Additional Details

• CPI required, but may be obtained after contract start and is provided on site

Clinical Scope

• Triage of patients
• Critical thinking and assessment skills
• Nursing skills including IV/IO
• Chest tube management
• Catheterization
• Critical care drip comfortability

Scheduling Notes

• RTO must be requested in the sub packet and made up at the end of the contract
• RTO blackout: Labor Day

Submission Notes

• Permanent home address must be included on the submission
• Do not include SSN on the sub packet or email
• Travelers submitted without the necessary information or requirements will be rejected
