Description
Interim Critical Care Director
Location: South Charleston, West Virginia Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40 Shift: All
Role Overview
- Interim Critical Care Director overseeing the CVICU, ICU, and the future SICU
Required Qualifications
- BSN
- 2 to 5 years of nurse manager or director experience
- Experience (clinical or management) in the medical ICU and CVICU
- BLS (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications
- MSN or MBA
Other Qualifications and Skills
- CCRN
- Knowledge of quality and patient outcomes, including CLABSIs, CAUTIs, VAP, and sepsis
- Experience leading quality improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of Joint Commission readiness and CMS standards
- Budget development, productivity management, and capital budget planning
- ICU flow optimization
- Interdisciplinary collaboration
- Integrating ICU care models across multiple ICUs
- Proven success leading cultural transformation
- Experience managing resistance across diverse teams
- Relationship and influence skills
