Office Nurse (RN) – Outpatient (Days)

Location: Jaffrey, NH (family medicine practice) Employment Type: Temp Shift: Days Contract Length: 13 weeks

Role Overview

The Office Nurse (RN) supports primary care providers in outpatient family practice. Duties include:

• Preparing patient charts and patients for examination
• Assisting providers with examinations and special procedures
• Administering injections, removing sutures, cleaning wounds, and applying dressings
• Directing patient flow and supervising LPNs and Medical Assistants in delegated tasks
• Managing medically related phone calls and keeping clinical areas clean and stocked
• Completing clinical forms

Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Hampshire
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
• At least 2 years of clinic experience
• Clinic experience within the last year
• Active BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Wound care experience

• Communicating effectively with patients about medications, medical history, and diagnoses
