Description
CVOR Tech
- Location: Prescott, Arizona
- Unit: CVOR Tech
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 0600-1430
- Hours per week: 40
- Facility details: 6 ORs (1 CVOR), 1 Hybrid room
- Volume: 20-30 cases per day (1-2 CV or up to 4 TAVR)
- Common cases: CABG, aortic valve, mitral valve, TAVR
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist experience (1 year minimum, within the last year)
- BLS certification
- Surgical Technologist experience
Support and Schedule
- Scrub techs are available for OR techs.
- A charge nurse and specialty leads are available as resources.
- A house supervisor is in house from 6 PM to 7 AM only.
- The hospital provides scrubs.
On Call
- On call up to 50% of the time, from end of shift to next morning, with a 30-minute response time.
- On call up to 50% of weekends.
