RN - Surgery
Location: Fort Mohave, Arizona Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 0630 - 1500 Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week (40 hours per week listed) Openings: 1
Unit Details
- Specialty: OR
- Floor: First
- Beds/Rooms: 6 ORs, 1 endo suite
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Patient Population: 70% adult, 28% geriatric, 2% pediatric
- Patient Mix: 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
- Equipment: New Olympus laparoscopic/endo equipment, processors and monitors; Steris beds; Hana table
- EHR: MEDHOST and CQI
Schedule
- Weekend hours are for on-call only.
- Call is shared evenly with other OR RNs. Call usually starts at 1700.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification
- Operating Room (OR) experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Endoscopy experience
- Orthopedics experience
- OB/GYN experience
Float Scope
- May float to PACU for a second RN.
Dress Code
- Scrubs are provided.
- Visible tattoos are acceptable if they fit professional standards.
- Pornographic, foul-language, or inappropriate imagery on personal clothing is not acceptable.
