CV Tech (Cath Lab Technician)

• Location: Middleburg, Florida
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 07:00 - 17:30
• On-call: Rotating nights and every 3rd weekend; 30-minute response time

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Cath Lab Technologist experience, minimum 2 years
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• RCIS or ARRT credential
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Driver's License

Systems

• Cerner EMR
• Philips imaging system

Submission and Onboarding Requirements

Submission

• Resume or profile
• At least two professional references, completed before the first assignment
• License verification
• Skills checklist, completed within one year of start and updated annually
• Disciplinary actions questionnaire, if applicable

Onboarding

• Facility core competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics), completed within one year of start and renewed every 3 years; minimum 80% passing score; two attempts allowed
• Medical imaging contract worker onboarding education attestation, from the pre-hire 6-hour course, signed and dated by the traveler and uploaded by the agency
• Forward-facing badge headshot on a white or blue background, with no alterations or filters
• Confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead, updated with each extension
• Driver's license or state ID, not expired, showing front and back, with an address matching the file
• Education verification, completed within 90 days of start
• Employment verification for the past seven years, updated yearly
• Criminal background check (including SSN trace, OIG, national sex offender, and OFAC searches), completed within 90 days of the first assignment and updated yearly
• EPLS check, completed within 90 days of start
• 11-panel drug screen, completed within 30 days before the first assignment and updated yearly, with MRO review for prescriptions or dilute negatives

Health and immunizations

• Two MMR vaccines or positive IgG titer; no declinations accepted
• Varicella: two vaccines, serological immunity, or documented history; no declinations accepted
• Tdap, valid 10 years; no declinations or attestations accepted
• Hepatitis B vaccine series or a signed declination
• Influenza vaccine for the season of October 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027; declinations accepted with mandatory masking
• Two-step PPD or IGRA, with TB questionnaire updated annually; a positive result requires a chest X-ray within the last year
• Health statement or physical exam before the first assignment, updated annually
• Respirator fit test, required for all travelers, updated annually; WI and MI require specific 3M models; PAPR fit tests are not done onsite
