Description
Behavioral Health RN
Location: Omaha area, Nebraska
Contract: 6 months, 40 hours per week (travel) Start: ASAP Shift: Evenings, 8-hour shifts from 2:30 to 11:00 pm, every other weekend
Role Overview
- Backfill opening for a Behavioral Health RN. Converting from temp to permanent is not offered; the position is a 6-month backfill.
- Newer unit for adolescents. Duties include assessment and administration.
- Facility will train on handling agitated patients and on safe restraint of patients in distress. Training into the backfill will take some time.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Nebraska
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification
- Behavioral Health experience (1 year minimum)
- Behavioral Health experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- Adolescent psychiatric experience (ideal candidate). Candidates without it but with solid experience on a lockdown unit will be considered.
