Description
RN OR
- Location: Florence, South Carolina
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 06:30 - 19:00
Role Overview
- Assesses assigned patients using history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data.
- Delegates, supervises, and evaluates other team members, and performs immediate interventions in urgent or emergent situations.
- Prepares the operating room and patient, positions patients on the operating table, and performs circulating duties within or outside the sterile field.
- Completes the Safe Surgery checklist verification and maintains accurate, timely documentation.
- Assists with control and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
- Serves as the communication liaison between the patient's family and the operating team.
- Willingly participates in assigned call as scheduled.
- Requires knowledge of computer programs used to deliver patient care.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Operating Room (OR) experience of 1 year, completed within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Valid driver's license
