Overview

Travel/Contract role in Stockbridge, Georgia
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
Contract length: 20 weeks
Adults to Geriatrics patient population
Unit has 24 rooms with an average daily census of 19
Ratio: 1:2–3, with possibility of taking a 3rd patient
1st timers are accepted
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS
NIHHS prior to start
Full compliance required to start on time
Photo ID required
Background check must be complete prior to start
Education verification required
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start
Physical statement within 12 months of start
TB questionnaire required
Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
2 clinical references
Skills checklist within 12 months
Verification of most recent employer
Color blind testing online
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
Competency exam
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam

Work Setting

General diagnoses include ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Post-op complications, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, Liver failure, Drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT
Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
No travel pairs
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Every other weekend
Major holidays may be required based on assignment dates
