Description

OR Surgical Tech - Crosby, Minnesota

Location: Crosby, Minnesota Contract: 13 weeks, full time, guaranteed hours, mid-May start Shift: Days, 40 hours/week, 10-hour day shifts, possible call

Required Qualifications

Surgical Technologist with 3 years of experience
Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS certification

Facility and Case Mix

8 OR suites, with 16-18 cases per day
Adult and pediatric cases
No robotics. The facility has a minimally invasive surgery program, reportedly the first in Minnesota.
Large bariatric program, plus general surgery, orthopedics, and total joints
Uses Stryker endo systems and DuPuy hips
Endoscopy is performed in the OR by general surgeons. ERCPs are also performed. There are no GI physicians on site.
