Med/Surg-Tele RN
Location: Atlanta, Georgia Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Shift: Day
Unit Overview
- Specialty: Inpatient Overflow
- Unit: 10-bed admission unit
- Patient population: General medical and surgical patients, including surgical patients waiting for surgery
- Patient ratio: 5:1
- Patient flow: Rapid admission unit, so patient load turns over faster than a typical medical-surgical unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience (2 years)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification

- Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days

Schedule Requirements
- Mandatory holiday coverage: Travelers must work either Thanksgiving Day or the day after Thanksgiving. They must also work either Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, or New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
