Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal

Schedule

• Shift: Day, 5x8 hours (7:30 to 17:00)
• Hours: 8 per day, 40 per week
• No weekends, no nights, no major holidays
• Not on call

Responsibilities

• Perform 7-9 detailed ultrasounds daily on high-risk patients
• Report findings to 3 MFM physicians
• Assist with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS procedures
• Work across 6 ultrasound rooms at one medical center and 2 rooms at another hospital
• May float within scope to meet facility needs

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Maternal Fetal Medicine sonography experience, with recent experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification
• NT certification
• Experience working with OB-GYN patients
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Fetal echo is required
• Experience with Epic

Submission Requirements

• Submit 3 interview times, including time zone, with each candidate
• Confirm the candidate is available at all three times
• A no-call/no-show will disqualify the candidate from future positions across the health system
• Return-to-office restrictions: confirm details with the hiring manager; the candidate must be present at submission
• Scrubs: any solid color, no print

Onboarding and Compliance

• Background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
• Education verification (nursing degree for RNs)
• 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• References: minimum 2, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable setting
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
• Tdap within 10 years (declination accepted)
• MMR, varicella, and Hepatitis B documentation (vaccine, titer, or declination)
• TB screening (IGRA, QuantiFERON, or 2 PPDs within 12 months of start)
• Annual physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by an MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
• COVID vaccination record preferred; declination not required
• Respirator fit test and annual respiratory clearance
• Annual regulatory training modules (approximately 3.5 hours)
• E-Verify attestation
