Description
Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
- Location: Kinston, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Process: Candidates are reviewed and interviewed by the manager.
Schedule
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday
- Arrive at 6:45 a.m. for huddle; shift runs 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Rotating weeknight and weekend call
- Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
Role Overview
The OR Nurse provides pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care as part of the surgical team. Experience with general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, C-sections, ophthalmology, vascular, dental, and ENT services is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Operating Room (OR) experience: 5 years
- Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic
