Description
Med Surg RN
Location: Auburn, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
About the Opportunity
- Small community hospital with 42 beds, recently renovated
- Contract RN needed to help out in Med Surg
- Unit bed count: 20
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 or 1:6
- No floating to other units or departments
Required Qualifications
- Indiana RN license
- BLS certification through AHA
- 1+ year of Med Surg experience
Job Duties
- Bedside shift report
- Foley care
- Medication administration
- Intake and output (I&Os)
- Charting
- NG care
- Head-to-toe assessments
Systems and Equipment
- Onmicell
- AccuChek
- EPIC
Orientation and Policies
- 8 hours of orientation
- Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13-week assignment
