Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Days)

Location: Plymouth, NH Employment Type: Temp Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 10 hours per day Start Dates: Currently accepting 11/23 and 12/14 start dates

Important Notes

• Must be willing to work and take call during Christmas and New Year holidays.
• Does not accept local candidates.
• Travelers must list a permanent address 50+ miles from the facility.
• Limit RTO requests. This is a small, critical access facility.

Clinical Focus

• Unit: Surgical Services Unit with 2 Operating Rooms and 1 Endoscopy Suite
• Volume: 40-50 cases per week. Cases per day vary by service line, with 1-4 or 5-12 endoscopy cases.
• Procedures: Orthopedic, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Obstetrics/Gynecology, General Surgery, and Endoscopy

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Hampshire
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience with total joint surgery procedures
• Proficiency in orthopedic cases
• Proficiency in sports medicine cases
• Proficiency in gynecology cases
• Proficiency in C-section cases
• Proficiency in endoscopy cases
• Proficiency in general surgery cases

Plymouth is centrally located between the White Mountains and the Lakes Region, with recreation areas, cultural events, and shopping and dining. Beaches on the Atlantic and the city of Boston are about 90 minutes away.
