Role Details

• School-based Occupational Therapist position serving students ages 5-21
• The school is a certificate track program for students with Autism and coinciding diagnoses
• OT services are provided in small group, individual, and dyad sessions
• Expected caseload includes 15-20 IEP hours of OT services
• Staff hours are 8-4pm

Required Qualifications

• Valid School Services (Occupational Therapist) license in Maryland
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Government issued photo ID
• State License 1 Verification
• Mandatory Reporter
• Fingerprinting in Maryland is required
• 7 Year Background Check
• Federal background search
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• Education Verification for highest degree obtained
• Maryland State Sex Offender Registry Search
• Maryland Medicaid Exclusion List
• 2 Professional References within 2 years of start
• Complete Application
• Skills Checklist 1 if applicable to the unit
• Physical Exam within 12 months of start
• Fit Mask within 1 year of start
• TB Questionnaire
• COVID proof of vaccination or Aya declination form
• Negative 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start

Preferred

• Negative QGOLD or TSPOT within 1 year of start and updated annually is highly preferred
• Flu vaccine or exemption is required during flu season for general candidates, but flu vaccine is recommended but not required for school employees
