RN - Med Surg
Location: Marquette, Michigan Employment Type: Travel Start Date: By 12/21/2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Specialty: Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics
- Unit: 7th floor, Neuro/Ortho/Peds (24 beds, trauma level 2)
- Patient Population: All ages over 28 days
- Common Diagnoses/Treatment: Trauma and post-op Ortho/Neuro; general pediatric unit (0-3 rooms on average)
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Shift: Night shift (NOC)
- Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
- Weekend Hours: 3 weekends every 6 weeks
- Call Requirements: None
- Openings: 1
- Float Requirements: Yes, to inpatient units
- Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue
- Personality Fit: Teamwork and collaboration
- Housing: Housing recommendations available (at additional cost)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Med Surg experience (2 years)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with adult patients
