Employment Type: Travel (Backfill) Location: Gallatin, Tennessee Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)

• Unit: Med/Surg A5 floor, Medical Surgical Combination 2 department
• Specialty: MS/Tele (Med/Surg Telemetry)
• Facility: 167-bed hospital, Level III Trauma Center, accredited by The Joint Commission
• Patient Population: All ages
• Equipment: Omnicell for medication dispensing
• EHR: Meditech (software familiarity)
• Openings: 1

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Shift: See shift details
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend or as needed
• Call: As needed
• Float: As needed, with possible float to similar med/surg units
• Orientation: Weekly, on Mondays
• Dress Code: Any scrub color; casual wear is not acceptable
• Personality Fit: Professional

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience of 1 year, with experience within the last year
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• IV insertion skills
• Certifications not listed may also be required by the client.
• Tennessee Abuse Registry: Check required before the assignment start date, with results due before start
• Eligibility: Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel
