RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Employment Type: Travel Location: Largo, Florida Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Unit Details

Unit: Respiratory Therapy
Unit Location: Largo, 1st floor, Main hospital building
Beds: 290
Staffing: 21 total staff
- Day shift: 6 therapists and a supervisor
- Night shift: 4 therapists
Equipment: Servo and 840
Scrub Color (RT): Gray
Parking: Park in the garage on the third and fourth floors (AM and PM shifts)
Float Scope: The West campus psych/rehab department is a float unit.

Schedule

Works every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Scheduled according to facility policy.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Florida
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 1 year of experience
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NBRC
NRP
PALS
Ventilator management

Neb treatments
ABGs from A-lines and sticks
Assisting in intubation, codes, and rapid responses
