Description
RN - CVOR
Location: Golden, Colorado Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 0645-1715, 40 hours per week, no set day off Employment Type: Clinical Nursing
Role Summary
- Performs independent and delegated nursing functions under state Board of Nursing standards.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, and performs health teaching and counseling.
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, refers patients as needed, and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Setting and Scope
- CVOR RN works in the CVOR and/or main ORs.
- Requires 21 CVOR call shifts in a 9-week schedule.
- May be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, based on business need.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Colorado.
- Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience.
- CVOR experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
