Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Dialysis
Location: Hackensack, New Jersey Employment Type: Clinical Unit: Acute Renal Unit Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM or 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, document, and coordinate individualized nursing care based on assessments, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice and support adoption of innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience, completed within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Knowledge of the Fresenius T Machine
- Knowledge of portable RO's
