Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - OR
Location: North Bergen, New Jersey Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Role Summary
- Applies the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Documents patient assessments, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical interventions, and evaluations of patient responses to treatment.
- Assigns and evaluates the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
