Schedule and Holiday Requirements

Unless the unit is closed, the contractor must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
Unless the unit is closed, the contractor must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays.

Eligibility Restrictions

Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not considered.
Past employees of the health system, whether full-time, PRN float pool, or travel, cannot work travel in another market, regardless of facility, if they worked there within the past 12 months.
The separation policy does not apply to past health system employees who worked travel contracts (not FTE or PRN) there.
Not open to first-time travelers.

Requirements

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
2 years of operating room experience
Operating room experience within the last year
Experience in a hospital setting
3 months or more of total travel experience within the previous 18 months
Experience with general surgery
Experience with gynecologic surgery
Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
Experience with podiatric surgery and podiatry patients
Orthopedics experience
Urology experience
Plastic surgery experience
Experience with Epic
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Driver's license
