Overview

• Employment type: Temp
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Varied, 10 hours per day
• Role: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care.

Schedule and Logistics

• Orientation dates: 11/30, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21
• Winter holidays: Traveler must work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day). Limit of 1 day-off request between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.
• Local radius: No locals. Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license).
• Separation policy: Past employees of the facility's float pool (FTE or PRN) cannot work travel in another market for 12 months, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at. This policy does not apply to those who worked travel at this facility (not FTE or PRN).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
• Radiology Technologist with 1.25 years of experience
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience in a clinic or hospital setting
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with the C-arm, including GE OEC C-arm equipment

Department Information

• Equipment: Phillips diagnostic, Carestream, hologic breast machine, Phillips portable, Siemens Cysto, GE OEC C-arms, Toshiba fluoroscopy
• Volume: About 100 patient scans per day across all technologists
