Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week
Shift: Primarily Days, with some evenings and on-call as required

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Electrophysiology Monitoring Techs (EP Techs) to support a busy and advanced EP Lab in a leading healthcare system. This is a patient-centered, team-driven environment requiring professionalism, adaptability, and technical precision.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Assist Electrophysiologists during EP studies, ablations, and cardiac device implants

• Perform pacing maneuvers and measurements using GE MacLab or CardioLab systems

• Support procedures involving Carto, Abbott, and Rhythmia mapping systems

• Communicate with physicians and team members regarding procedural needs and equipment availability

• Participate in room turnover and procedure setup to maintain on-time starts and efficient workflow

• Coordinate care with Charge Nurse and third-party vendors

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Ablations (RF & Cryo): A-Fib, Atrial Flutter, AVNRT, WPW, Atrial Tach, and other arrhythmias

• Cardiac Device Implants:

• Pacemakers: Single, Dual, BiV, CSP

• ICDs: Transvenous, Subcutaneous

• Leadless Pacemakers, ILRs, and Loop Recorders

• LAAC Devices: Watchman and Amulet

HRE Laser Lead Extraction (low-risk)

Job Requirements:

• License:

• RCES certification or Radiologic Technologist license (depending on background)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Electrophysiology or related Cath/EP lab setting

Certifications:

BLS – American Heart Association only

Preferred Skills (Not Required, but Highly Desirable):

• Bloom Stimulator experience

• GE MacLab/CardioLab proficiency

• Epic documentation experience

• Cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience
