Setting: Acute Gastrointestinal/Medical-Surgical Unit

Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a travel assignment on the Fifth Floor Gastrointestinal (GI)/COVID Medical/Surgical Unit at Northside Hospital Forsyth. The unit provides acute care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in private rooms with telemetry capability.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to GI and COVID patients
Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
Administer medications, treatments, and collaborate on individualized care plans
Document patient care accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Previous travel experience preferred

Assignment Details

Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 per week
Length: 16 weeks
Holiday Coverage: Required
