Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Cumming, GA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Start Date: 10/13/2025

Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Cumming, GA. This role is best suited for nurses with strong obstetric skills who can deliver compassionate care to patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients during all stages of labor and delivery
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
Administer medications and interventions as ordered
Support physicians, midwives, and the care team during delivery procedures
Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process
Document care and maintain compliance with hospital protocols

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring, AWHONN
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Strong communication, assessment, and patient advocacy skills

Assignment Details:

Shift Type: 12-hour Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Duration: 13 weeks
