Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician in an acute care setting. The LPN/LVN is responsible for assisting with assessments, administering medications, monitoring patient status, and documenting care accurately in accordance with facility policy and state regulations.

Essential Duties

Deliver direct patient care per established care plans.
Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical status.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Utilize Allscripts for accurate and timely charting.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience – Required
Active NYS LPN/LVN License – Required
BLS (AHA) – Required
Acute care experience preferred
