Key West, FL

About

Key West sits at the southernmost point in the country at the end of the 180-mile stretch of Florida Keys. It's home to the original Margaritaville and has a renowned beach party vibe. Duval Street is one of the most popular places to be with its lively bars, including the famous Sloppy Joe's, a favorite of novelist Ernest Hemingway. The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum sits within his 1851 Spanish colonial home, where he wrote the majority of his life's work and still contains the original furniture. Of course, Key West is also popular for watersports like sailing and snorkeling while boasting many beautiful beaches for soaking up the sun. At the end of every day, locals and tourists alike gather at Mallory Square for the nightly sunset-watching ritual, which often includes musicians and various street performers.
